Here are the upcoming classes. To sign up for a class please call the shop or come in: 973-377-5648 (KNIT) If classes are sold out you can leave your name on a waiting list.
If you have a private group of 6 or more and would like your own class please inquire and we’ll try to make it happen!

Summer Flies Again is a little bigger than Summer Flies - choose one! This is the perfect little shawl to cover bare shoulders. "The butterfly and lace motif are accented by a knotted openwork trellis. It is worked by sections with increases made only on the right side rows. This creates a gentle curve for a shallow half round shawl."

Florescence is designed by teacher Carolyn Hanson! Centers are made separately then the flower petals are created using the continuous Crochet method. There is no piecing together! This is a stunning wrap that took 1st place for New Entrant at the 2017 Crochet Guild of America (CGOA) in Chicago. Need to have basic crochet skills. Pattern available on Ravelry.

Class time - 9am - 10:30pm
Felted clog/slippers knit holding double yarn. This creates a very thick, firm fabric when felted, and features double soles for longer wear. Techniques include: knitting in the round, short rows, and felting.

Beginner Knitting
Beginner knitting project - Felted change purse
Level - Beginner 1 (no previous experience required)

Are you a beginner who's never knitted a stitch but wants to join in the fun? In this four session class you'll learn the basics of knitting, purling, casting on and binding off, increasing and decreasing, and more, all while creating a simple change purse.

General information for classes
Class sizes are limited to allow for personal instruction. Paid reservations are required and class spots are filled on a first come first served basis; we will begin a waiting list if necessary, and add additional classes where possible. Call or stop in to reserve your spot. Please call the shop and speak to us if you have to cancel your reservation; phone messages do not serve as official notice. Students signing up for a multi session class must sign up for the entire session; we do not prorate. A class may be canceled if a minimum number of students have not signed up. In that case you will be contacted and payment will be refunded. If a class session must be canceled due to weather or other unforeseen complication every effort will be made to contact students and to reschedule.
