If you have a private group of 6 or more and would like your own class please inquire and we’ll try to make it happen!

Color Work Cowl - Mette Cozy

Intermediate: Experience with color work suggested.

Take your stranded color work skills to the next level.  With this quick & fun cowl learn to carry your floats when working larger motifs.  If you took the Twisp Hat class or have done other basic color work this is a great next step.

Antler Pullover by Tin Can Knits

Level:  Advanced beginner to intermediate.

This is one of the newest patterns from the designing duo known as Tin Can Knits.   As with all their patterns Antler is written for sizes baby through 4XL.  This is a fun quick knit when worked up as a kids sweater, and we strongly suggest you choose a small size to work through with the class.The class will reinforce the construction of a traditional yoke sweater worked bottom up and will introduce simple cables into a sweater.  If you have just taken the Carbeth sweater class or if you have recently learned cables or would like to this would be a great next step. It is also a perfect first sweater project!

Beginner Knitting

Are you a beginner who's never knitted a stitch but wants to join in the fun? In this four-session class you'll learn the basics of knitting, purling, casting on and binding off, increasing and decreasing, and more, all while creating a simple change purse

Learn to Make Socks

Level:  Advanced beginner, assumes familiarity with working in the round as well as confidence and proficiency in basic knitting skills.

These cute roll-top or ribbed ankle socks are perfect for knitting and wearing. They're knit from the top down, with a traditional heel flap and heel turn. There will be size options as well as the choice of fingering or worsted weight yarn. This is a great class for new sock knitters and a fun knit for those looking for a refresher or to work on thinner yarn.  Needle options for working in the round will be covered in this class, and the pattern will be provided.

Building Blocks Blanket - Block by Block Part 1

Back by popular demand!

Level: Advanced beginner, assumes understanding of long tail cast on, knit and purl stitches and their appearance. Block by Block is an exciting series of classes designed to help you learn and practice lots of fun knitting skills. Each of the weekly sessions focuses on a block pattern and introduces a new concept, done in a sequential fashion that "builds" upon the previously learned skill. Knitting techniques for each block will even be supported with video instruction. Six blocks may be joined to create a small lap blanket or baby blanket, or students may continue to make additional squares in Part 2 of this class or by themselves.If you have taken a beginning knitting class this is an excellent next step!

General information for classes

Class sizes are limited to allow for personal instruction. Paid reservations are required and class spots are filled on a first come first served basis; we will begin a waiting list if necessary, and add additional classes where possible. Call or stop in to reserve your spot. Please call the shop and speak to us if you have to cancel your reservation; phone messages do not serve as official notice. Students signing up for a multi session class must sign up for the entire session; we do not prorate. A class may be canceled if a minimum number of students have not signed up. In that case you will be contacted and payment will be refunded. If a class session must be canceled due to weather or other unforeseen complication every effort will be made to contact students and to reschedule.
